In addition, the money may be used for more than one project.

Any member-consumer in good standing with Homeward's co-op partners (Butler County REC, Calhoun County REC, Franklin REC, Grundy County REC, Heartland Power Cooperative, Midland Power Cooperative, Prairie Energy Cooperative, or Raccoon Valley REC) is eligible for a loan. A mortgage will be filed as security, so you must own the property where the energy-efficiency improvements are being made.

Up to $10,000 for 10 years at 5% interest

Minimum of $1,000 may be borrowed. Monthly loan payments must be automatically withdrawn from an account the borrower has with a bank or lending institution.
